Showcase Resources

When showcase time rolls around, here’s where you can find helpful resources! Always keep an eye on your inbox, as date-specific showcase information will always be sent there.

  • Each performer receives two free tickets. All other tickets must be purchased online or at the door (cash or card accepted). Tickets are $15 per person requiring a chair (small children who sit with their adult are free).

  • General Guidelines:

    • Always wear dance tights with your costume, unless you’re wearing leggings or have pants as part of your costume.

    • No bikini-cut bottoms. Please wear biketards or costumes with coverage.

    • Make sure your costume will pass an “upside down test” - the dress or skirt won’t come up over your face, etc.

    • FOR SILKS/SLING/ANY FABRIC APPARATUS: Please do not wear costumes with zippers, sequins, or anything rough/protruding that could snag the fabrics. Make sure any skirts are short enough to not get caught and will work well with your choreography.

    • FOR TRAPEZE/LYRA: Feel free to wear all the sequins. Be mindful that zippers may be uncomfortable against the bar. Make sure skirts work with your choreography.

  • Rehearsal - Always held the Friday night before a showcase

5:00 PM - Dress Rehearsal Begins

    • We will do our best to let kids and youth rehearse as soon as they are ready so that they can be the first to leave.

    • In order to keep rehearsal moving, please come when you can, warm up and run your routine (or at least mark through it) so that the support team knows your cues.

    • Please wear your complete costume so you can run your routine in it and test lighting with our light technician. This SHOULD NOT be the first time you run your routine in costume.

    • Riggers, MC, and other volunteers please also attend so we can go over the run-of-show and your responsibilities. It’ll also help us solve problems together as we run into things.

8:00 PM - Dress Rehearsal Ends

*Please make every effort to be there Friday so we can do a run through for our amazing helpers on lights and rigging :)
